"PETS" ~ Playfully Engaging The Senses

ArtSounds© combines audio, visual, and tactile senses by inviting the listener of a beautiful song to visually enjoy an artist's interpretation of the lyrics, while exercising the option of removing "PETS" from the picture to play with interactively.

ArtSounds© begins with the picturesque lyrics to a beautiful song written by successful Grammy nominated Nashville Songwriters. An artist transcribes the heart of the words to create a colorful image that projects the songwriter's vision onto a painting.

ArtSounds© paintings are surrounded by custom-made frames, into which speakers and a high quality music chip of the original song have been embedded.

ArtSounds'© "PETS" are three-dimensional characters that give the painting depth and can be removed for play and to inspire creativity. Depending on the particular ArtSounds©, a "PET" can be an Angel, a Fairy, an Animal, a Flower, Plant, or any other character derived from the lyric/story line.

ArtSounds'©"PETS" will have a mini storybook attached for children to read or have read to them.

ArtSounds© Development

ArtSounds©will be developed as a joint effort of business partners Lathan Hudson and Roxanna Bain.
Initial proposed
ArtSounds© begin with the music of Grammy nominated songwrwiter Lathan Hudson:

My Magic Rainbow
Mother's Garden
Dollmaker
Jingle Bell Monster

An example of the first
ArtSounds© follows:

MY MAGIC RAINBOW is proposed as the first
ArtSounds© to be developed. The inspiration for the painting comes from a song originally titled "Dreamer" by Grammy nominated songwriter Lathan Hudson. The song, recorded by a talented artist, Briana, will be embedded in a chip in the picture frame. The song begins:

"The dreamer dreamed that he could make this world a better place
He'd take the magic that he'd found and he just knew that he'd erase
All the pain and all the sadness that surrounds us everyday
And once upon a time I heard him say,

My magic rainbow's up there somewhere I'll find it given time
And when I do a poet will find the perfect rhyme
To make each lover say some magic words to make his maiden swoon
And he'll say to her those magic words beneath my magic moon

There'll be no end and no beginning it will rise above the trees
Glisten off the mountaintops and purify the streams
Then I'll share my magic rainbow with the young and with the old
And there'll be a happy ending to every story ever told….
"

From this beautiful song, a story was written by Roxanna and Lathan titled "Roary, Guardian of the Northern Lights. The story brings to life a plush children's character named Roary, developed by Lathan Hudson. Roary is concerned that he is very different from his Angel and Fairy friends and struggles to accept the way he looks. When Roary and his friends slide down the Magic Rainbow and Roary cannot fly back up North to his home, he discovers why he is on Earth and that being different has a very special meaning. This is a good lesson for any child who has ever felt that s/he is "different", and that s/he does not fit in with the other children.

The detachable "PETS" which will stand out on the first
ArtSounds© painting will be Angles, Fairies, and, of course, Roary. The story of "My Magic Rainbow" will be printed in a mini version and attached to Roary's wrist. A preliminary concept of the painting follows (Roary to be added with possible other changes).
