Each week a panel of celebrity divas will award a “ Baby Boomer Diva” the Power to grant three wishes.
SYNOPSIS
Boomer Diva Power will feature three to five accomplished Baby Boomer Women each week in a two part show; explore the controversies they overcame to become successful, and grant one of them the “Power” to make wishes come true. Their challenge will be in choosing between making dreams come true for others or for themselves.
As our back story explores how our Diva contestants overcame adversities to become successful, they will be interviewed in depth by our host, Beverly Mahone, a veteran journalist, author, media coach and motivational speaker. As a role model to all women, they will discuss with Beverly and our viewers the motivation, inner strength, dreams, and goals that contributed to the accomplished baby boomers they are today.
A panel of Celebrity Divas will choose the Boomer Diva they feel should be given the Power to grant three wishes, which the winner will complete on the second night of the show. Our viewing audience will vote for the Diva they think is the best role model for women over 40 years of age.
After votes are counted, our second night will reveal which of our Divas is granted the Power to make three wishes come true. The first wish they will grant is to a child through the Make A Wish Foundation. The next two wishes will be selected by the winner from a list we provide. She will have the option of choosing wishes to make her own dreams come true, or granting others their dream of a lifetime.
Viewers will be invited to visit our website and nominate Boomer Divas to appear on the show, which we will initially begin with contestants from Diva Nation, a community of fabulous women over 40, developed by our host, Diva Beverly Mahone.
After all wishes have been granted, our weekly winning Diva will be surprised with a shower of sponsor gifts as we crown her “Queen Diva For A Day”.
