Logline:

“The Bachelor” meets “Dancing With The Stars” and

“Shall We Dance” on “The Love Boat”.

Synopsis :

Single men and women go on a romantic cruise where they hope to find the love of their life and win a Million Dollar dance competition.

At the end they must choose between:

A dancing diva to help them win a million dollar prize,

OR

Their new, rhythm-challenged love!

Some contestants will be passionate about winning the prize money~ others will be passionate about finding the love of their life~ creating explosive dynamics when partners do not agree.

Aboard this beautiful cruise ship there will be private hot tub rendezvous, candlelight dining, moonlight strolls, and multiple sensual encounters with dates of chance and choice .

Daily ballroom lessons with scantily clad partners will develop dance skills for our high-energy finale. Some will excel in dance and be desirable, fought-over partners to win the cash. Others will fall in love and hope to be chosen as life partners.

When not rehearsing, shore excursions in romantic ports-of-call will allow lovers to escape alone to explore even more spectacular, erotic places.

At the end of our show, when the men ask “Will You Be My Partner?” will it be for

“dancing OR romancing?”

HOST:

The dancing OR romancing? host will be a charismatic personality with television experience, preferable on shows like “Dancing With The Stars” and other reality shows.

13 Episodes:

Episode 1 Will open with contestants boarding ship and settling in.

Scene 2 ~ Ext. Pool Deck on Ship - Casual Dress -- Early Evening

LADIES are seated at individual tables around the pool.

One by one, the MEN visit each Lady, spend 10 minutes in an introductory conversation and move to the next table.

A representative from Match.com or Chemisty.com (or other sponsor) will predict the best love matches from earlier completed questionnaires.

All contestants will be free to mingle for remainder of evening.

Episodes 2-9 :

MORNING:

MEN have breakfast on their own without LADIES.

At breakfast, LADIES play “The Face Game” to choose their companions for the day.

HOST will moderate this activity ~ controlling speed and any arguing and/or fighting.

All LADIES are seated randomly around a large table.

Each plate has a card on it with the face of a GENTLEMAN (face down).

LADY #1 will look at her card & show it ~ this is her GENTLEMAN for the day.

LADY #2 ~ Before looking at her card ~ she has the choice of trading LADY #1 for her “face” or keeping her own card.

LADY # 3 ~ Before looking at her card - she may choose from the other two or keep hers.

This continues around the table until all GENTLEMEN have been revealed.

When it gets back around to LADY #1 ~ she has last pick of any “face”.

LADIES must spend the day with chosen GENTLEMAN.

After breakfast, each LADY knocks on the cabin door of her companion and they begin their day's activities (which have been planned for them).

½ or the couples will begin ballroom dance lessons – HOST will attend and moderate

½ of the couples will go on dates ashore or aboard

AFTERNOON:

A daily competition will determine which LADY gets the coveted #1 spot at breakfast the next day, and the rest of the seating arrangements

EVENING:

After dinner, the activities will reverse ~ ½ will get lessons, ½ will go on date

Free time - all can be with whomever they choose for socializing or dance practice.

Dynamics – as relationships begin to develop, LADIES will argue over selection of partners. MEN may not be happy with their daily partners. Some may be stuck with a bad dancer who will not help him win the contest, and others may not have any chemistry between them for romance ~ and vice-versa.

OR

Episode10

LADIES will no longer choose daily partners. Each MAN must now decide which is more important to him ~

Dancing OR Romancing?

MEN will fill out a secret ballet to pick their competition partner. Will they choose the best dancer to help win the million dollars, or will they choose their new love and risk losing the money? They will keep this partner for remainder of show for both dance and free time. A contest will break any tie ~ but their first choice will be revealed to all.

Dynamics ~ Conflict will surely occur if a MAN does not choose the LADY with whom he has begun a romantic relationship. She may feel he cares more about winning the money than he does about her.

She may also be jealous of the sensual dance moves of another woman in a slinky dance costume touching her man suggestively.

Episode 11 ~ All couples spend time practicing for contest.

Episode 12 ~ LAST EVENING ~Formal dance competition in ballroom.

Professional judges score and viewers call in to vote for the best dance couple.

Viewers can also vote on favorite romantic couple.

Episode 13 ~ Results show will announce winner of the Million Dollar dance contest.

After announcing the contest winner, each GENTLEMEN who wishes to continue a relationship with a LADY will hold out his hand to her as Anne Murray softly sings:

“Could I have this dance for the rest of my life?
Would you be my partner every night?
When we're together, it feels so right.
Could I have this dance for the rest of my life?”
